Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Orders
a) No orders shall be deemed to be accepted and no contract shall be deemed to be entered by Bridon (Furniture at Work) Limited until a written acceptance of any offer or quotation is approved by the Purchaser, or an official order from the Purchaser is received by Bridon (Furniture at Work) Limited, or confirmation via email.

b) No Variation or waiver or addition to these conditions shall be binding unless expressly confirmed by a duly authorised representative of Bridon (Furniture at Work) Limited in writing.

c) Our marketing policy is one of continuous product development. We, therefore, reserve the right to alter specification and designs without prior notice.

2. Cancellation of Order
Orders cannot be cancelled except on terms, which indemnify Bridon (Furniture at Work) Limited against all losses incurred.

Order cancellation must be in writing or email.

A customer may cancel a stock order without incurring any cancellation fees if it has not been delivered

Furniture orders which have been delivered from stock but the customer no longer requires there will be a charge of 25% of the sale value including VAT covering administration and warehouse pick up

Cancellation of non stock furniture orders which have not been delivered to Bridon but have been made, the customer will have to pay any cancellation charges occurring from the manufacturer. A minimum of 25% of retail value will be charged which ever is the greater.

Cancellation of non stock furniture orders which have been delivered to Bridon or the customer, the customer will have to pay any cancellation charges occurring from the manufacturer plus 15% administration fee of the sale value including VAT covering administration and warehouse pick up.

3. Price
Bridon (Furniture at Work) Limited reserves the right to amend the contract prices in respect of variation in cost of raw materials, labour and transport occurring between the date of any offer and completion unless the original quotation was submitted in fixed price basis.

4. Minimum Order
Bridon (Furniture at Work) Limited will make a net charge of £20 for all orders under the value of £100.00

5. V.A.T
V.A.T is payable by the Purchaser in all cases at the rate in force at the date of delivery.

6. Passing of Property and Risk to the Buyer
The ownership of the goods will only be transferred to the Purchaser when the Purchaser has met all that is owing to Bridon (Furniture at Work) Limited in respect of the goods. Until the date of payment the Purchaser, if Bridon (Furniture at Work) Limited so desires, is required to store the goods in such a way that they are clearly the property of Bridon (Furniture at Work) Limited. The risk in the goods shall pass to the Purchaser at the time of delivery. Upon delivery of the goods, they will be deemed to have been delivered complete and in satisfactory condition unless at the time of delivery it is noted on the delivery receipt that the goods are damaged and written notice of the damage is given by the Purchaser to the Carrier and Bridon (Furniture at Work) Limited within 5 working days or receipt of goods.

7. Delivery
a) Delivery is charged on a postage and packing basis for small orders. The cost of delivery of larger orders will be confirmed at the time of placement.

b) Delivery will be to the Purchasers premises or direct to a specified location.

c) Installation is available by our own staff as required and the Purchaser should confirm a deliver and install price with Bridon (Furniture at Work) Limited at the time of order placement.

d) Bridon (Furniture at Work) Limited shall not incur any liability or be responsible for any loss or damage sustained by the Purchaser arising out of; or in consequence of; any delay is despatch.

8. Postponed or Refusal of Delivery
In the event of non-acceptance by the Purchaser of delivery of the goods on the agreed date Bridon (Furniture at Work) Limited reserves the right:

a) To invoice the goods in full, such invoices to be payable as if the goods had been delivered.
b) To place all or any of the goods into a warehouse and to charge all costs thereby incurred to the Purchaser.
c) Charge the Purchaser a fee for re-delivery

9. Payment
The price of goods becomes payable with 28 days of Bridon (Furniture at Work) Limited invoice date. Bridon (Furniture at Work) Limited reserves the right to charge interest if payment is not recieved within this period.

10. Guarantee
Bridon (Furniture at Work) Limited undertakes that if within five years of delivery of the goods (excluding moving parts) or within three years the date of delivery of the goods (including moving parts) are found upon inspection by or on behalf of Bridon (Furniture at Work) Limited to have proved defective in workmanship or materials under normal use and service it will (as its option) either repair or replace the defective goods or part thereof provided any case the original goods have been properly maintained and have not been subject to any misuse, unauthorised repair, replacement, modification or alteration.

In any case of goods not manufactured by Bridon (Furniture at Work) Limited, it will pass onto the Purchaser to the extent that it is able any benefits obtainable under any warranty given by our supplier provide that the goods have paid for and accepted.

In order to exercise its rights, the Purchaser shall inform Bridon (Furniture at Work) Limited within seven days of the date when such defect appeared or ought reasonable to have been discoverable, and in any even with in the relevant warranty period as specified above and shall at Bridon (Furniture at Work) Limited written request return the defective goods carriage paid to our premises.

11. Governing Law
All contracts are made in England and shall in all respects be construed and operate under English Law.
